Project description
This project was aimed at supporting the Polish Agricultural Advisory Services in improving the quality of information services in order to be able to meet the future requirements of their clients. Specific topics of the seminars included rural renewal, agro-tourism, ecological agriculture and other alternative income sources for farmers. In order to improve the understanding of these strategies, mecca offered study tours to relevant projects implemented in Austria. These projects served as best-practice examples. At the end of the training programme mecca conducted a series of supplementary workshops, which provided the settings for extensive discussions on options for designing and implementing comparable projects in Poland.
