RIN - Rural International Network

The city network RIN represents a modern possibility for integrating and disseminating regional knowledge, know-how and exemplary project models in the Austrian border regions with Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Due to the enlargement of the EU, intercommunal cooperation is growing in importance. The main goal of RIN is to support smaller cities and rural areas throughout the border region in a variety of ways: exchange of know-how, discussions, advanced training for municipal politicians and employees in municipal administration as well as promotion of project initiatives on the municipal and regional level.
